Today's
wisdom is tomorrow's peace of mind.
Pre-arranging
a funeral is one area of retirement planning most people
don't think about, particularly when they are healthy and
enjoying life.
But
we plan ahead for just about every other financial possibility
to ensure our loved ones and ourselves are protected.
We take out life insurance and health insurance, we
put money aside for retirement and most of us have made a Will.

|
|
A pre-arranged funeral can protect your loved ones emotionally
as well as financially, and provide you with peace of mind
knowing your affairs are in order. |
|
Getting your affairs in order with a pre-planned funeral. |
| When
you pre-arrange a funeral, you choose the type and style of
funeral service you want.
Some
of the details you will need to consider when pre-arranging
a funeral include:
|
- Whether
you prefer burial or cremation
- Your
preferred cemetery or crematorium
- Any
special features you would like to include in the service,
such as a poem, special piece of music or a DVD
slideshow
- The
type and style of coffin or casket you prefer
- Inclusion
of clubs and associations
- If
you would prefer donations to charity rather than flowers
- Death
Registration, certain information is needed to register
a death. Having this information recorded in advance ensures
an accurate and complete registration.
|
|
Once
you have decided on the main features of the funeral service,
our funeral director will complete a written record of the
details you have requested to ensure your funeral will be
conducted exactly in accordance with your wishes.
Please
visit our "arrange
online" page for the information required when
pre-arranging a funeral. You may wish to complete the online
form in your own time and submit it straight to Christian
Funerals. We will then contact you and make a time to visit
and finalise any details.
